Part three of the four-part documentary, which airs Saturday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime, has Janet, 55, discussing her struggles with her weight and body image beginning when she was 10 years old while appearing on the sitcom Good Times. “I started gaining a chest at a very young age and they would tie my chest to make me appear more flat-chested.” If you have not been following, see the extended trailer below.
She went on to say, “On top of that, Mike would sometimes mock and jeer at me. He called me a “pig,” “horse,” “slaughter hog,” and a “cow.” No, he didn’t do anything maliciously at all. When brothers tease their sisters, sisters tease their brothers back.”
